A truly unique experience awaits you as soon as you step out of your car, one that will leave you lost for words. A wide, amphitheatre-shaped beach, a stretch of bright white fine sand for as far as the eye can see, leading onto crystal clear waters which reflect blue and turquoise tonalities.

Yes, Berchida beach is one of many wonders of the extraordinary island of Sardinia and the entire Mediterranean area. In 2009 it was voted Italy's most beautiful coastline and proudly flies the Green Flag, awarded by paediatricians to child-friendly seaside locations.
A dream-like panorama which fills the spirit and soul with well-being and a sense of harmony with nature. The softly sloping, sandy sea bed makes this beach ideal for families with elderly members and children.
Access to Berchida beach is free of charge, however a series of paid services are available provided by two small beach establishments: sunbeds should you wish to lie down or rest in the sun, beach umbrellas which protect from the sun's hottest ray, as well as canoes and pedalos for short excursions over the crystal clear waters, inhabited by countless fish species.
This is no shortage of small kiosks where you can grab a bite to eat, serving cold dishes and sandwiches. Showers and chemical toilets are also available.
In short, despite preserving its wild and uncontaminated characteristics, this area has all you need to enjoy your stay immersed in authentic nature, the sun, sea and clear blue skies.
As you stroll among the beach umbrellas which are slightly higher in number during the high season, although never too crowded, it feels truly impossible that such an uncontaminated and spectacular place actually exists this side of the ocean, without having to travel to the Maldives or Caribbean.
The fantastic day and light breeze which temper the heat of the sun invite us to stretch our legs and so we head towards the sea shore for a pleasant walk. There are no borders in this magnificent landscape, since Berchida beach is part of a single amphitheatre which also includes the neighbouring coasts of Mandra 'e Pische, Cannazzeulu, Pedra Marches and Biderosa.
The beach is interrupted by nothing other than small rocky agglomerates which create tiny, peaceful bays. Every now and then you can stop and rest in the shade of natural pergolas formed by interlocked juniper branches, or admire the colourful shells which wash up on the shore (remember not to remove them because this is a protected natural oasis!).
Near the beach you can visit remains dating back to the Nuragic age, at the archaeological sites of Conca Umosa and Paule 'e Lucia.
Just like Berchida, walking along neighbouring beaches is the best, not to mention the healthiest way to reach the Biderosa Oasis, given that traffic is restricted to the area and subject to the payment of a toll. A shuttle bus service is also available for visitors, with regular departures right up to the beaches of the Oasis.
After taking in the sun, fragrances and breathtaking panoramic views, let us head back to Berchida beach, before the sunset paints the sky red, to savour the experience of a lovely dip in the warm, crystal clear waters. This day will leave you with unforgettable memories and you will find it impossible not to give into the temptation of returning, just to walk on the soft white sands of this beach.
These places are not for those who enjoy the hustle and bustle of fashionable beaches, or for those looking for all the comforts, sophisticated equipment or invasive entertainment. Here, visitors experience the simplicity of nature, the allure of open spaces as they breathe in the poetry of the sea and its enchantment.

“Impressive”
This beach is fantastic. As you leave the main road you will have about a 10 minute drive down a fairly bumpy track to get to the car park, but once you get there it is definitely worth it.
The beach is very large with crystal clear waters and fine sands. There are lagoons on either side as you take the main walkway to the beach, with a beach bar serving coffee and snacks next to the car park. Parking is €10 for a whole day or €6 for half a day. We spent a great day here and i would really recommend a visit if you are in the area,

Is a fantastic tinny sand beach. with turquoise and crystalline water color.You pay there just the car parking 10 euro, and from there you can reach the oasi n°5 of Bidderosa beach , another beautiful beach where prices are more highers.
